Friday Potluck # 24 — March 4, 2011

It’s time for FRIDAY POTLUCK again!

Sometimes, as I type my Friday Potluck introduction, it feels like I’m on a game show… “and heeeeeeeeere’s Alex!” Except that my name is Erin. Sometimes I feel like it’s a monologue, but I doubt most of you are as regaled by tales of my own life as I am. I find myself fascinating… which may be a little frightening, but at least I find myself in good company!

I love Fridays. Right now I am at home most Fridays… I get to see new recipes pop up on the Friday Potluck linky… my husband is typically home early… and well, it’s Friday, what’s not to love!

This Friday, I’d like to highlight a few very important things.

Very important thing #1:

  3. Love seeing all the great recipes at these parties… EASY is always a keyword for me. Will come back tomorrow to check out that granola!

Glad you liked our recipe last week, Erin. I actually asked The Chef to make some of that tonight, which he did. It was really for us to have for tomorrow, but I had some for a “snack” tonight… couldn’t wait until tomorrow. It is one of my all-time favorites of his! Looking forward to trying your stir-fry soon… which I’m sure we will after The Chef saw the recipe tonight and said it was the “perfect” combo of different flavor types!

(I accidentally left the comment signed in under his username… so coming back to leave it again under mine… CLEARLY past my bedtime!)

  9. Not sure if it’s my computer or what but the link to the bacon chocolate truffles isn’t working. Both the link to the recipe and the site, the link to the site takes me to my dashboard, very weird. Maybe my computer is wacko but I just thought I’d let you know.

  10. Thank you for the reminder Erin! I’m a bit jet lagged today so I really appreciate it! I love the look of those yummy featured recipes and I’m looking forward to visiting the links. I’ve linked up my Blueberry and Macadamia Nut muffins – a great breakfast (or anytime) treat!

I will start linking with you each Friday (that I post) as well as Foodie Friday – thanks for inviting me! I have written a book about my mother, the back half of which is her old Southern recipes. Michael Lee West is going to review the book for me and post about it, so I am very excited about that!

Thanks for hosting. I’m always so busy that I don’t get a chance to photograph my dishes so my posts are few. However when I do a post I look forward to adding to your Potluck.
