Seven Ways … To Eat Salsa

This marks the start of a new series at Salmon At Seven called Seven Ways.

Seven Ways topics will be varied and sundry. Suggestions will be accepted if you have ideas or want to guest post on seven ways to do anything – garden, cook, eat, play, decorate, organize. I’m all for it!

If you’ve been a long time reader, yo may have noticed that I love salsa (and chips), but I honestly find salsa to be one of the best garnishes around. It’s healthy, flavorful, colorful… and DELICIOUS!

1. Pineapple Ginger Salsa
This recipe went with some sweet and spicy shrimp that were modified from Spice and Easy… and was a new twist on flavors.

2. Watermelon Sriacha Salsa
Yet another addition for shrimp that also went amazingly with tortilla chips.

3. Mango Citrus Salsa
Amazing served over grilled halibut. Wonderful.

4. Orange Avocado Salsa
Shrimp seems to be a theme here, and this orange and avocado salsa is simply stunning.

5. Homemade Smooth Salsa
This is a more traditional salsa and a little on the spicy side… and therefore bound to knock your socks off in more ways than one.

6. Mango Peach Salsa
This is a bit of a reach, since I buy this salsa from Costco, but it is simply amazing — particularly when served over blackened ahi as in this recipe.

7.  Heavenly Guacamole
My guacamole might just be award-winning, if I ever entered it into any contests. Since I haven’t, you’ll just have to believe me that many many friends have agreed that it’s awesome.
